About
About Greyhouse Glass
Greyhouse Glass is a small, independent stained glass studio based in North Carolina.
Every piece is designed, cut, copper-foiled, soldered, and finished by hand by Grey Hensey. No mass production. No shortcuts. Just real stained glass, simple forms, and a careful craft.
The studio was built around a simple idea: stained glass should feel meaningful and handmade, but it does not have to feel old-fashioned.
Handmade Stained Glass Crosses
Greyhouse Glass currently focuses on handmade stained glass crosses for the home.
Each piece is made one at a time using real stained glass and the traditional copper foil method. No two pieces are exactly alike. That is part of working by hand with real glass, and part of what makes each one special.
These crosses are made as faith-based home decor, meaningful Christian gifts, and small heirloom objects worth keeping.
Simple, Handmade, Built to Last
The goal is simple: create stained glass pieces that catch light well, look good in a quiet space, and hold up over time.
That means real stained glass, clean shapes, carefully chosen colors, and a straightforward handmade process from start to finish. Each Greyhouse Glass cross is made to feel quiet, meaningful, and easy to live with — not overly decorative, not mass-produced, and not trying too hard.
